At barrel proof the nose and flavors of this whiskey become pleasantly intensified. Rye, ground coffee and spice are still present, but additional is a floral note and a hint of vintage grain bin. Palate adds brilliant spice, rye grass, cocoa and savory oak. Finish is still smooth, but has a silkier mouthfeel and a bit of chew, lingering spice and fruit.
